A stronghold bar in "uptown" Peoria Heights. They keep the middle class happy on the middle of Prospect without being "low class" loved this spot for years and will always be a patron.

I've only been here for breakfast. The food is fantastic, but do not make other plans that morning. Last time I went on a Sunday, it took over an hour to receive an order of biscuits and gravy and eggs. 4 stars because of wait time, otherwise would have been 5.

REALLY like this place. Small, homey bar. My girlfriend and I are always looking for a nearby pool table. We just started going a couple times a week, and the regulars are all VERY friendly and welcoming. We'll be going back, soon!! The bar IS cash only, so if you're only using a card, this might not need the place, but they do have an atm

Breakfast (and a drink?) here after working third shift is always amazing. They serve the full menu even early in the morning. Perfect for after working all night.

The pork tenderloin was worth every penny. As well as the reuben sandwich and ham and cheese omelet. Generous portions at a great price. The tenderloin sandwich was only 7.50. The service was prompt and very nice. It was also clean and a great place to play some games and have a couple of beers. Also a great breakfast place! Highly recommended. I gave it five stars because in comparison to like competitors it stood far above in food and performance!

We were there for breakfast. Food was good, but way over priced! Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Establishment was clean, but very noisy. Music playing and people were trying to talk over it. Probably will not return.

This place has some of the rudest employees i have ever encountered. Our group was treated so disrespectfully i found it hard to believe. I have NEVER been motivated to write a review for any establishment before this experience but the level of rudeness (employees dropping f-bombs and yelling at customers) we witnessed tonight was jaw-dropping. I have to give one star because i can’t rate them any lower. The place, aside from the rude employees, is dirty and has one of the absolutely worst bathroom situations i have ever seen. Needless to say, i would not recommend this place.

Haven't had a drink there since before i turned 21 but the breakfast is the best in the city

It was my first trip there -- meet some folks for lunch. We had good beer, good food, and good company. What's not to like? The wife had a half pound burger, I had a big bowl of chili, both dishes were very well prepared and very tasty. We each had 2 draft beers and the tab was just over $17 -- not too bad! Their breakfast looks very good and we will definitely stop in for that soon.

Would never return again. The staff was rude and disrespectful. Service was horrible
